CSA Membership Agreement

Please read the entire agreement.

Our commitment to our members:

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is about trust, accountability, honesty, and integrity. We commit to this level of integrity and will do everything reasonable and possible to provide our members with fresh, healthy produce for an 18 week harvest season.

We promise to never use any synthetic fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, or knowingly plant genetically modified seed. We promise that we will tell you if we did not grow something ourselves and that we know the farmer and his/her practices.

You understand that we communicate via email. Any vital information or changes will be emailed to you. It is your responsibility to check your email.

Refunds or cancellations:

Unfortunately, there is always the possibility of circumstances beyond our control, such as weather and pests, that impact our ability to grow. As a member of the Dandelion Farm CSA, you acknowledge that the community shares in the bounty as well as the risk associated with agriculture. You commit to sharing this risk for the duration of the season. Therefore, there are no refunds or cancellations. However, if your circumstances change and you are not able to use your share, you can sell your share, give it to a friend, or we can donate your share for you.

Weekly pick up:

You are required to pick up your weekly share at one of three locations/times.

On the farm (1192 Old Stage Rd, Westford, VT) Thursdays between 3:30 pm and 6:30pm.

Firebird Cafe (1 Main Street, Essex Jct, VT) Thursdays between 3:30 pm and 6:30pm.

Old North End (Dewey Park, Burlington, VT) Tuesdays between 3:00 pm and 6:30pm.

The first pick up day is June 8, 2023, and the last day is October 5, 2023.

If additional pick-up times and/or locations are made available, you will be notified.

If you are unable to come at the designated time, you can make prior arrangements via email for someone to claim your bag for you. If you forget or need to come after the time/day agreed upon, we will do what we can to work with you. However, the bag may not be as fresh or have the same contents as the original. Any unclaimed bags, for which prior arrangements were not made, will be donated at our discretion.

By purchasing a CSA share you understand that all produce is not ready to eat. You must wash it yourself.

Thank you for being part of our CSA program!
